One night, when dinner was just about ready, Laura needed to make some ranch dressing. She combined her buttermilk and mayonnaise and went to the cupboard to get the ranch packet, only to find she didn’t have any! Since she was unable to go to the store, she gathered her spices together and put in a little bit of this, a little bit of that and this was the beginning of her own wonderful ranch dressing recipe!
